Today we got these tasty ginger biscuits baked by Laurence…
They’re full of Christmas spices to help to get us all in the festive mood. Yum!

Last week’s post about the usb typewriter caused some chatter in the studio…
Rachel is the proud owner of this Olivetti Lettera 22 which she picked up from a car-boot sale for just four pounds! This just goes to show how great vintage bargains can still be found in car-boot sales. A similar model would sell at Camden Market for around eighty pounds. Good find Rachel!

This week is my entry into our little bake-off! A chocolate fridge cake, also known as a “Rocky Road”.
This is made from chocolate, biscuit, raisins, glace cherries, golden syrup, some butter, and a little cinnamon.

The previous cupcakes by Dimple were just a practice. Her bake-off entry is this excellent looking
chocolate & orange cake (left) which started to fly off the plate before I could even take a photo.
This week it’s a butter iced carrot cake (right) made by Ed. Tasty stuff!

Back by popular demand, is the Kinnersley Kent design bake-off.
The bake-off involves employees taking it in turns to bring sugary home made treats to the studio for all to share.
So far, we’ve had entries from Andrew and Dimple. Check out the images of their entries below.
Also, keep checking back for more mouthwateringly tasty treats,
and for who will eventually be crowned as winner of the bake-off.

This week, we’re lucky enough to have two cake days.
Today Man gave us some delicious coconut and lime rocks which are exceptionally moorish.
I think he was hoping to keep them all for himself as we didn’t see them until ten past five!
Later this week Glenn is bringing in his treat.
